Description: This listing is for an antique Henry Disston handsaw. The medalion dates it to 1896-1917. It is in very good condition with no chips or nicks. The handle has red paint on it's handle edges. It looks 5.5 to 6 PPI. There is a hairline in wood at the medalion. It measures 23 1/2" long. The blade has an unusual end that curves with teeth to the tip. May have been used as a starter saw for tight spots. There are initials A. E. G. on handle and lettering A. E. GREE around a screw hole. There may have been an N. This could be a great addition to your collection thank you for looking.
