Gypsy was from Minneapolis/St Paul in Minnesota. They initially formed as The Underbeats and were one the hottest bands in the local area. Changes occurred that brought in James Walsh on keyboards. They were signed to the Metromedia record label and released two LPs, the first of which was only the second double LP released by a new band. The first being Chicago Transit Authority. They traveled to California and were the featured band at The Whiskey-Au-Go-Go opening for many more well-known bands. Metromedia didn't promote their LPs very well and they released two more on different labels. James Walsh released two more Gypsy LPs and then formed Jumpstreet, for a final studio LP. Musically, hard rock and pop with a few long, drawn-out songs with heavy guitar. This was the second LP. Price - $ 35.
