Description: "Greetings from Immenstadt" Mold No. NAGerman stoneware, transfer & hand painted, 1 L, pewter lidText reads, "Gruss Vom Immenstadt" and translates to "Greetings from Immenstadt" by Marzi & Remy - circa 1895 Condition and Description: Overall in excellent condition, only very minor quibble is a bit wear to base trim color (exactly as pictured). This is a curious stein, showing the town of Immenstadt, which is located in the German Alps, Bavaria. The stein also shows a mountain goat / ram and adjacent to the goat is an inset of the "Friedsrichbad" which is a Roman-Irish bath first opened in 1877. This is a wonderful stein with great color, detail & presence - displays incredibly well!
