Description: This intriguing, attractive cover(bootleg?) was sent from someone with Grace-American International Corporation, Vladivostok, Russia, in late October, 1920! The mail could have been mailed from the ship that the mail arrived on, or it was simply carried by someone for the company. After it arrived in Yokohama, Japan, on October 30, 1920, the stamp(possibly already affixed to the envelope) was cancelled, and was sent to the Pacific Mail Steamship Company offices there in Yokohama. At the time of writing, Vladivostok, and most of the rest of Russia was in the midst of a bloody civil war. To continue, the 4-Sen, Japanese definitive is in great condition! The English-language CDS from the Yokohama P.O. is quite fine, but a bit light/faded in areas. Lastly, as for the envelope, itself, it's in very good condition! It's very clean! There are a number of creases in the envelope, and a hinge remnant at the back. There is also a medium-sized tear in the top, right side connected to when the mail was first opened. The back flap is intact. Noted imperfections aside, this cover remains a very nifty piece of Russian and Japanese postal history!
