This knife features an Alabama Damascus steel trailing-point blade, hidden tang construction, a rosewood handle, and a stainless steel hilt. Alabama Damascus is regarded by many knifemakers as one of the best blade steels in terms of durability and edge holding ability. The blade is 4" long and approximately 5/32" thick at the hilt. Overall length is 8-1/2". The blade is tang stamped Romeis. The knife is in excellent, like-new condition overall, showing signs of occasional handling. The blade is 100% intact. The handle is in excellent condition, with no visible cracks or chips. The fit and finish is superb. The knife includes a handmade leather sheath (note: the sheath is not original to the knife).
