Description: I am offering today a Good User Antique Craftsman No 3 Smooth Bottom Woodworking Plane Craftsman plane was made by Millers Falls. It has been taken apart and gently cleaned. The plane's japanning is in fine condition. The knob and tote are in excellent, NO CRACKS, REPAIRS nor imperfections. The plane measures 9-1/4" x 2-1/8". It is stamped No 3 under the tote, "Made in USA" behind knob. It weighs 2lbs 15oz. The sole and cheeks have minimal signs of surface rust and age related stains, and have cleaned up well. The cap has has a Craftsman logo. The cutter measures 6" x 1-3/4" W. I always suggest sharpening the cutter to get it back to an optimal cutting edge. “Photos are an integral part of this item's description.
