GOMER PYLE USMC TV Series Script, Andy Griffith Show Comedy Show Spin-off

Description: This is a first-generation COPY of a 1965 script from the GOMER PYLE USMC TV series from my personal collection (not a transcript or Photoshop recreation). The original was owned by character actor Allan Melvin (Sam from The Brady Bunch) and he wrote his name on the cover. A copy of the original is offered here. The 43-page script is from the episode titled “Third Finger, Left Loaf”. This was the first time that Melvin played Sgt. Charley Hacker, Sgt. Carter’s friend and nemesis. In the episode, Gomer (Jim Nabors) holds a wedding ring for a friend (That Girl’s Ted Bessell) and it appears to be lost when they spend a night baking bread. Frank Sutton and Ronnie Schell also appear. The script’s cover has been copied in color and a sheet of acetate is included for protection and for a stunning appearance (to be honest, it looks better than the original). Pages are printed on one side. Great care has been taken to make this a piece that a collector will be proud to own and show off. Sorry, but the photos are NOT included.
