Description: Rare tested pure white gold ore, silver, rhodium platinum with some crystal structure and green Bayldonite ring that appears to go straight through the specimen near the edge. Some silver in the tarnished spots. Bayldonite usually forms near or on copper bearing specimens. I see no evidence on the outer surface of copper. Unuasual composition ore rock natural as found. A little over one pound weight. 6 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 3". Photos show filings setting in silver acid, up 22k acid and platinum acid. Nitric and muriatic acids. Photos show the filings up thirty minutes in the acids with no dissolving. Precious metal ore specimen from the mountains of North Carolina.
