It produced much Copper, Silver and some Gold in various amounts mostly within quarts, along with other metals like Cadmium, Lead, Galena, Zinc, Iron, Palladium and many more. The quantities of metals will vary in each piece. There is no promise of much Gold if you decide to buy bulk. This is a nice colourful piece, each piece has its own character and shows well. This ore is Sulphide ( Sulphide ore, comes from a volcanic massive Sulphide deposits, goggle for more information on VMS, ore often contains metals such as: Au, Ag, Cu, Pd, Pt, Zn, Al, Cd, Co, Mn, Fe, Mg, Be and more ). These pieces will also contain Chalcopyrite as a base. Some pieces where tested at Gold 1.5 ppm to 95 ppm, Silver 50 ppm to 900 ppm Copper generally way over 1000 ppm. This ore was refined in the past, not in mere homes but proper refineries. Regardless the quantity of precious metals cannot be known for sure in each piece, but will vary from piece to piece. That being said large amounts of Copper, Silver and some Gold where extracted. This piece has a large number of minerals and has lots more metal then meets the eye!
