Description: HUM 385 4/0 "Chicken-Licken" - TMK-7 Height 3.25" Tall The full size figurine (#385) was first released in the U.S. market in 1972 as one of twenty-four new motifs released that year. Originally modeled by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek in June 1967. In 1991, a new miniature size figurine, without the fence, was issued with a suggested retail price of $80 to match a new miniature plate series called the "Little Homemakers" - one each year for four years. This is the fourth and last in the series. It has an incised 1987 copyright date along with the TMK-7 trademark. This example is the "FIRST ISSUE" and has the special backstamp on the bottom of the base. Production of this figurine continued, without the special backstamp, until December 31st 1997, when this miniature size was Temporalily Withdrawn (TW) from production by Goebel. This was classified as a closed edition (CE) in January 1999. See below for the specifications: New Open Box - Hummel was stored in attic with dozens of other hummels. Only opened box to inspect and provide accurate item description for this listing. (Never Displayed!) Has Goebel New Crown Trademark (TMK-7) stamped in Blue on underside of base. First Issue - This example is amongst the first produced, having the special "FIRST ISSUE ERSTE AUSGABE 1991" backstamp on the bottom of the base. Incised Hummel Number "385 4/0", Factory Control Number "10" and Copyright Date "1987" on underside of base. Incised "M.I. Hummel" on rear side of base. Oversized - Hummel exceeds the box labeled listed height of 3.125" by One Eighth of an inch, standing at about 3.25" tall. Master Painter Hand-signed signature in black on underside of base, located to the right of TMK-7 stamp. This figurine is the fourth and last in the "Little Homemakers" series, released in 1991. Hummel comes in original box with foam inserts. This size was Temporalily Withdrawn (TW) from production by Goebel on December 31st 1997. Closed Edition. (CE) Hummel is in New Open Box condition!
