PROBABLY NOT EVEN NETTING $20 AT THAT PRICE. Purchased at a local estate auction. the first pictures that you will see, were taken of the unit factory tape sealed. However, I did open the box just to be 100% certain that it was, in fact new AND IT IS. There is also a puncture in the exterior of the main box (shown), so I wanted to make sure that whatever made that puncture did not impact the actual unit. That puncture lines up with the styrofoam also shown. CLEARLY 100% NEW OLD STOCK AND NEVER USED. EVERYTHING IS NEW AND SEALED, BUT OBVIOUSLY THE BATTERIES WILL NOT BE ANY GOOD. PLEASE BE ADVISED, THERE ARE UNETHICAL AND UNSCRUPULOUS PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT WILL BUY THIS, USE IT TO TRANSFER VIDEOS FROM VHS TO DVD AND THEN TRY TO RETURN IT. I DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. IF YOU TRY TO PULL THAT BS STUNT ON ME, I SEE IT NO DIFFERENTLY THAN TRYING TO PICK MY POCKET AND STEAL FROM ME AND MY FAMILY. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST GIVING ANYONE YOUR HOME ADDRESS AND THEN TRYING TO RIP THEM OFF.
