Seller personally witnessed the signing by Mary Pratt at the Greater Boston Sports Collectors Card Show. Mary was traded from the Peaches by League management at the end of the 1943 season to bolster the Kenosha Comets pitching staff that was devastated by injuries. Pratt, a left handed, elite, windmill, fast pitch ace posted a twenty+ game winning season for the Comets in 1944 with a no-hitter along the way and lead the Comets to their first half season Championship.
