(this will NOT FIT your Chinese mandolin or banjo without YOU DRILLING an additional hole) Sorry. 1-15/16″ Screw Hole Spacing just like the original truss rod covers from the pre World War II Days. The holes are 0.110″ in diameter, so there is no reaming or alterations necessary. These truss rod covers are .030″ thick and do NOT have rounded or tapered edges like the molded ones that were available in the 1990s … these look and feel just like the real deal with squared sides! This type of truss rod cover was sometimes found on mandolins and banjos in the 1920s and 1930s and were sometimes ornately engraved. Only the front of the truss rod cover is polished. The backside is left natural. There is no plating to wear off... this is sold brass, but can be engraved and left natural or it can be nickel or gold plated.
