Description: Gibson L-5 Ebony Fingerboards, NOS vintage originals in very good condition, and nice black Ebony with no cracks and have been radiused. There are some areas that the pearl that may need to sanded flush. They are 25 1/4” scale length, 1 3/8” at the nut, 1 7/8”at 20th fret and approximately 1/4” thick in center of board. Please remember that these will need to be bound if restoring an original L-5 Guitar. These fingerboards came from the Maudie Moore Estate in Kalamazoo. Maudie Moore was the Engraver and Inlay Artist at Gibson starting in 1969 and continued to work for them even after they moved to Nashville in the late "80's.
