Description: This used 50 German mark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Debt Office. It is a red, green, and blue note that is dated 5 August 1914, bear the signatures of v. Bischoffhausen, Warnecke, Vieregge, Muler Noelle, Dickuth, and Sprenger, and measures 150 mm x 100 mm. Its obverse side features two blue Reichsschuldenverwaltung seals, the imperial crown, a sword, the imperial eagle, and two crossed scepters. Its reverse side shows Germania. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of the imperial crown and laurel branches. The note was withdrawn in 1924.
