A fine impression, with selectively wiped platetone, on cream laid paper, with full margins (1 3/8 to 1 3/4 inches); light toning and rippling at the sheet edges, well away from the image, otherwise in very good condition. Image size 9 7/8 x 6 7/8 inches; sheet size 13 1/4 x 10 inches. Archivally sleeved, unmatted. Stimmel created urban landscapes of New York City and the surrounding areas from 1915 to 1930; working in watercolor, lithography and etching. His etchings were the subject of a feature article in Print Quarterly, 1928.
