Description: BRIDGMAN'S COMPLETE GUIDE TO DRAWING FROM LIFE GEORGE BRIDGMAN HC George Bridgman's "Complete Guide to Drawing From Life" hardcover, 349 pages, 9" x 11", all black and white, no color plates. Originally published in 1952 by Sterling Publishing, this version is from 20 - 25 years later by Weathervane Publishing, no date given by Weathervane. I bought it in 1986 from Strand Book's in NYC. Beautiful condition with the exception of the jacket spine which has some fading and tears (in photos). White pages, no tears or bumped corners, no inscriptions, no old book smell. Small hole in the spine but it does not effect the book or the binding (in picture). For anyone wanting to learn proper anatomy for the artist, George Bridgman was the recognized master and his life drawing classes at the Art Student's League in New York were packed for decades. This volume collects all of Bridgman's anatomy books into one volume. Terrific resource. Paypal only, not returnable.
