Because these are made from genuine full-grain leather, the color and texture will vary. Fitting: The maximum length for the axe head is 7". The maximum height is 2-1/8" at the poll and 3-1/4" at the cutting edge. Keep in mind that the sheaths are fitted for Snow and Nealley's Hudson Bay/Penobscot Bay Axes. If your axe has a different head shape, the fit will be affected.
