This was unknown to me, and I've had this piece in my collection for over twenty years. The pros: The steel shell presents extremely well for being over 100 years old. The cons: It comes with an authentic high-quality reproduction European-made German M-16 leather helmet liner and chin strap. Otherwise, it's a great piece of European militaria from WW 1.
