Description: Neat little concept for back in the day for a portable record player!I was able to play some records on this, but it needs some work. The arm won't move on its own to and from the record, I had to manually spin the record in order for the arm to lift up and move back to its resting place. Turning the player on and getting it started is a little fickle, sometimes it would just start playing (once the arm was resting on the record) or sometimes I'd need to turn it on and then slowly spin the record until it would start going on its own. Outside of that, the player seems to work great and is in decent shape! The speakers are loud, as I blasted my original Empire Strikes Back record through the house. The speakers are detachable so you can either leave them attached or separate them from the unit to get a better stereo sound.
