GB. QEII 1979 ERROR! ROSINE colour omitted on Rowland Hill M/S. Used on FDI.

Description: GB. QEII 1979 ERROR! DRAMATIC missing ROSINE on Rowland Hill miniature sheet used on FDI - 24th October 1979. STUNNING! Uncreased with no tears or perf splits. The colour Rosine appears to be missing! There may be other colours off as well, Brown-Bistre maybe? This is seen most clearly on the 11 1/2p stamp as the Bellman's red coat is now yellow. The absence of Rosine has also distorted other colours too.....such as the depth of blue on the postman's jacket on the 13p stamp. SG GB Specialised Catalogue WMS 427h. I have undertaken some research to find anything similar and have so far discovered that there appears to be only 12 unmounted mint examples known (impeccable sources on-line) and I have seen one on First Day Cover that was auctioned 10 years ago in London by a respected auctioneer of 30+ years.
