This is an important part of the Main Turntable bearing, comes from a Garrard Lab 80: LOWER MAIN BEARING WASHER with rubber Insulation ringThis part is used in most Garrard turntables from 1950- 1960, Lab 80 & Mk II Type A A70 RC 88 98 121 210 This is the washer that sits below the penolic ring and the 5 bearing balls. It is the part that transmits the weight of the turntable to the chassis. It is the lower race of the main thrust bearing. The rubber rings prevents turntable rumble to be transmitted to the main chassis and the tonearm. Pls note that the upper race and the lower race are not identical, the upper race has a wider inner diameter The actual washer and rubber ring is shown in pictures 2 and 3. For illustration I am showing the main shaft and the bearing assembly. THIS SALE IS FOR THE WASHER and RUBBER RING ONLY Hardened Steel Outer Diameter 5/8" inner diameter about 7/16" CONDITION: very clean, tested runs great. no wear or grooves on the washer.
