This is a beautiful shrub, which covers itself in semi-double white flowers for a long period in summer. It is a rounded grower, and this is evergreen. They are hardy to at least USDA zone 7a, and possibly to zone 6b or colder. These seeds were collected from some very nice specimens in zone 7. As with many seeds collected from special varieties, there can be a large amount of variation in the outcome of the seedlings. You may get seedlings with single or double flowers, or different sizes, and possibly different foliage colors or sizes as well. There is no way to determine what any seedling will look like until you actually grow them. No matter what the seedlings come out like, they should have a great degree of cold tolerance, as they came from a thriving zone 7 hardy collection of healthy plants, but there should be a great degree of cold hardiness in these seedlings. You could get an exciting new variety from these seeds that may sweep the nursery industry.
