Description: This is a handmade pen by Katie Manrique from the Gamma Series. She turned the pen cap from an acrylic blank called Black Pearl and chose Chrome hardware with a Etched Chrome Cap. This pen has a deep finish with swirls of silver in the black acrylic body. The chrome accents are set off by the etched chrome cap with pocket clip. The cap screws off of the point and just presses on the posted end. Because no two blanks are exactly the same, we roll the pen and take photos so that you can see what the pen looks like all the way around. The pen is 5-1/4" long with the cap on. With the cap posted for writing the pen is 6 & 7/8” long. The pen body diameter is 0.500" and cap diameter 0.510". To change the ink it unscrews the pen tip and then the ink cartridge pulls out. There is a Schmidt Safety Ceramic #888 Rollerball Ink cartridge in the pen. #320 Compatible Refills Note that when changing the refill that the spring goes in before the ink. (Unlike a ball point which requires the spring to be around the writing end.) Other standard rollerball refills will fit this pen also like the Acme 888 Safety Ceramic Rollerball, The Schmidt Safety Ceramic #888 Rollerball Ink cartridge, or the Hauser bill 707sf rollerball.
