When you choose to have your radio Performance Tuned, your radio will be optimized for best performance - Modulation will be set to achieve 100% instead of the minimal amount in the stock condition. Audio limiters will not be cut. Receive Enhancement-Your receive will be optimized for the best possible signal reception with the least amount of white noise. On radios that don't already have schottky diodes in the receive circuitry, these diodes will be upgraded. These diodes are faster switching resulting in quieter receive. A stock receive transistor will be replaced with a more sensitive transistor giving you a better overall receive. Frequency Alignment - A complete TX/RX frequency alignment helps ensure clear ssb communication. The clarifier will be opened so that the Transmit (TX) and Receive (RX) track on the same frequency. This feature is not so critical for normal cb radio (am) talking but will make a tremendous difference on sideband. Echo Board-This sound board allows the operator to adjust the amount of reverb, controlling both the volume and delay, giving you that big radio sound, better overall modulation and more clear transmission.
