Fork has been completely disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, inspected and reassembled in preparation for installation of YOUR CHOICE of Specialty Retro Products Steed Springs - see the last photo for info on spring rates by color by rider weight - OR, the factory elastomer stack. (NOTE: If you choose the elastomers, I'll immediately refund you $20; they are a little stiff but completely intact and I'd say with some fresh grease have at least another season or two in them, up to you). Stanchions are excellent, no pitting. Fork legs are in pretty decent shape overall with brightly shining paint, and minimal marks / scrapes. Threadless steerer tube is 179 mm long and has a star nut. Boots are in great shape. Slickoleum suspension fork grease was generously used throughout the rebuild and will be applied with your choice of SRP Steed springs when they are installed. Top caps look great and turn/adjust fine. This fork is just what you need for your vintage build - whether with SRP springs or the OEM elastomers! Ships via USPS Priority.
