Description: There is very little online about this rare toby jug. An Eastern European website stated it was Fu Manchu. Sax Rohmer started writing Fu Manchu stories in 1913. That site gave me the date range. There is another one on eBay where the color has been completely rubbed off. This jug feels like it was glazed yesterday. If there are any Fu Manchu collectors out there this is a must have. My guess is it comes from Great Britain but I was just reading that the French were also producing character jugs at this time and the manufacturing style is closer to the French majolica.
