Description: 10" tall 10.25" wide at top11.25" wide at bottom This is an original shade from Frederick Cooper, circa 1960's or 1970's. It's made out of some type of paperboard or fiberboard. The exterior is black with a metallic silver trim. The inside is plain, but has been discolored over time. The exterior has some signs of age/use (including a small dent- see photos), but overall looks pretty good for it's age. Both the top and bottom of the shade have a "brushed" look coming from the edge. It must have been part of the factory process, where the black surface isn't as thick over the paper.
