Framed Original Marie-Claude Lalique Lithograph Card, Art Nouveau Style

Description: Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for an original lithographed card/print done by Marie-Claude Lalique of the famed Lalique Crstal family. This item was purchased already custom framed so we are unsure whether it was originally a card or a print. The colors used are in shades of turquoise and lavender in a feather design and definitely reflects the Art Nouveau influence. Card is signed "M C Lalique" below design on lower right. Marie-Claude Lalique (1935-2003) was the daughter of Marc Lalique (1900-1977) and grand-daughter of the renown Rene Lalique and she also designed art glass items for the Lalique factory, taking over control of the Lalique empire upon the death of her father in 1977. Frame measures 12" high, 14 3/4" long and 3/4" deep. Site measures 5 3/4" high and 8 1/4" wide. Weighs 1.14 pounds. This nice print is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. The card has been professionally framed in a stylish brushed gold frame which is also in very good condition only reflecting minor signs of normal wear. Provenance: This card was received by Clint Paul and Lois B. Herring from Lalique in the 1970's while living in Post TX. They had the card framed and it was sold at auction along with a large collection of Lalique glass from their personal collection.
