Description: Former Harmony Kingdom Artist Neil Eyre Designs Green Lung the Dragon - Lung the Dragon was sculpted by Neil Eyre in 2004 for the 2005 Eyre Design collection. The intricate dragon wrapped around a sphere was released as both a two-piece box and as a solid piece. This is a two-piece box version with a green and gold dragon on a pearl ball. It has nub and divot to close securely, nice feature. This early Lung the Dragon is hand signed, labeled 22/50 and is in excellent pre owned and vintage condition. Original retail: $55. Neil is a former sculptor for other collectible lines including Harmony Kingdom and Fragile World. This is a rare early piece, created before the artist broke away from initial distribution sponsors, like Harmony Kingdom. Neil Eyre has been sculpting resin pieces from his studio in Long Island since 2003. He originally sculpted in the U.S. although his pieces were cast in the United Kingdom. But in 2008, he moved his entire operation to Manorville, N.Y., when he began doing his own casting where he has developed a number of unique resin finishes and unusual stains.
