Smokey Joe Wood, Edd Roush Bill Wambsganss, Waite Hoyt, Joe Sewell, Riggs Stephenson, Ossie Bluege, Guy Bush, Buck Leonard, Monte Irvin and others are interviewed in this great look into baseball's past. If you are a fan of baseball history in general, you'll want to have this SCARCE book in your collection. There is only some minor edge wear on the front cover (see the scan) and a very light corner crease on the bottom corner of the back cover, but this RARE book is still in very nice condition. No collection of books on the history of baseball is complete without this one.
