Folk Music of Hungary, Zoltan Kodaly, Revised Edition, HCDJ (1971)

Description: This is an original 1971 Revised Edition hardcover printing of "Folk Music of Hungary," written by Zoltan Kodaly, translated from the original Hungarian into English by Ronald Tempest and Cynthia Jolly, and published by Praeger Publishers. The original dust jacket is present. The copy being offered is in good condition overall but is automatically downgraded to "acceptable" due to the presence of writing with black pen ink on the bottom of the title page (the written dates of 1960 and 1971, which you can see in my 6th photo). As you'll see in my first five photos, the covers have only light wear, and the dust jacket is present but has heavier wear and several tears along the edges, including prominent tears in the corners, the largest of which is in the lower left corner of the back panel and measures a little larger than 2" high and 1" wide. Inside, aside from the aforementioned writing on the title page, the pages are clean and crisp, and I found no other instances of writing or marking (if any other instances exist, it can't be many). The string binding remains strong, even though it doesn't feel "tight." A small brown stain occurs near the top of the outer page edges.
