Recommended Use for Hot Yoga: While this mat is manufacturer-graded as anti-slip, for hot yoga we recommended you use it with a towel as excess moisture and sweat can reduce the grip and stickiness of the mat surface. Rubber and microfiber-surfaced mats are better alternatives if you do not want to use a towel. We at love those materials too, but at this time those materials don’t have the durability to sustain an embossed fold over repeated uses. We went with 6P-Free to maximize the life of the mat.
