Description: This top hat is made of flat black paper and is 2 1/4" x 3" wide and 1" tall. The oval head opening is 1 1/2" by 1 1/4". The band is 1/4" wide white satin ribbon. The hat will fit most Ken (as shown) dolls and Kevin but it might not fit a Ken or BJD with thin molded hair. It fell over the eyes of Luke Skywalker and my Ken Arsenio Hall. It would fit a 12" GI Joe type dolls (as shown on Han Solo) with thick molded hair and Barbie (as shown), Teen Skipper and her little sisters with puffy hair (as shown on Original Staci). The smaller boys and girls of the Barbie and Ken family can NOT wear it because their heads are too small. HS Musical and Monster High dolls can wear the hat as well. I no longer put Velcro in the hats to help hold it to heads with hair because I had complaints that the little hooks messed up the doll's hair but you can easily purchase and add a piece of sticky back Velcro inside the crown if needed. (Note: Velcro also helps a hat fit better if it is a little loose because a doll doesn't have enough hair).There is no place to hide my company label, ThumbelinaGowns, but since there are limited ways to make and decorate a hat, I will repeat various hats that prove popular. Nevertheless, the hat has been photographed and listed in my design catalog so I can try to keep the special ones limited. Hand-sewn detailing increases the cost/value of the design. Note: Doll is a model and not for sale.
