Description: This is a Gold coloured pendant necklace made from a Mexican FIVE CENTAVO coin. The earliest is from 1965, latest from 1967. Issued from 1954 to 1969 they feature the National Arms of an Eagle on a Cactus with a Snake in it's beak and a wreath below. The reverse has a portrait of Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez, an activist during the war of independence in the early 19th century. All my coins have been in circulation so may have minor imperfections but they are in very good condition with fine detail. They are highly polished to a mirror finish and then lacquered to prevent tarnishing. The cable chain is new and Gold plated with a Lobster claw clasp. Length is 450 mm (18") which can extend to 500 mm (20"). The photos are for display purposes only so may not show your chosen year. An ideal gift for birthday or anniversary. See my other items for lots more coin jewellery. Any questions, please ask. Thanks for looking. Gift wrapping not included.
