Description: Early English Dr. Wall first period Worcester chinoiserie cup and saucer both decorated in blue on an off-white ground. Both pieces are decorated with the chinoiserie motif known as three flowers with a butterfly among bud and tendril clusters. Both cup and saucer are marked on the underside with the crescent moon mark used before 1783 during Dr. Wall's period at Worcester.
