Description: This music/piano book is a great collection of American folk music. The pages are illustrated in color. The level of difficulty for piano would be beginner/intermediate, in my opinion. Easy enough for an average player to sit down and sight read. The book is broken into sections, based on what time in history the songs were popular. Before each section, there is a description explaining songs in American history during that time. Each song itself also has a mini description or interesting factoid above the music. This would be a nice supplement to a home school music or history class! It's a really neat book. The corners of the covers do show quite a lot of wear, and the covers are scuffed. The interior pages are really nice, though. Some minor yellowing, but they are in good shape. No writing, etc.
