The Telecaster Custom debuted in 1959 as a higher-end model of the "Telecaster."The wood materials are a two-piece alder body glued with vintage-like offset seams, a maple neck, and a slab-laminated rosewood fingerboard. The rift-sawn maple neck has a grippy "1959 Large "C"" shape, a 7.25"-9.5" compound radius fingerboard, and slightly larger frets than vintage-style ones, meeting modern demands. The hand-wound '58 TELE pickups are mounted, outputting the midrange typical of an alder body and the crispness typical of a Telecaster. The color is "Chocolate 3-Color Sunburst" with a very dark brown color on the outer rim.The body sides are not black, but are finished in a brown color that allows the wood grain to show through, showing the strong attention to detail of the custom shop. The finish uses "Flash Coat Lacquer", which eliminates the buffing process and achieves a very thin coating.Combined with the closet classic finish hardware, it has an exquisite texture despite being NOS. In terms of use, there are traces of lacquer reaction on the back of the neck and the end of the body, which is thought to be caused by the stand.There are also paint chips near the neck joint and paint peeling under the joint plate.There are other small scratches that cannot be captured in the photo, but since it was made in 2023, there is no noticeable damage and the overall appearance is beautiful. The neck condition is good. There are almost no frets worn down, and you can play without any annoying buzzing or stuffiness.There is still room left in the truss rod, so this guitar is in good condition and will be loved for a long time to come.
