With this sleeve missing the stud is often bend while trying to lock the fence position. Our all new sleeve is CNC machined from C1018 steel and is bright zinc plated for appearance and corrosion protection. The Delta part number for this item when used on a 4" jointer is FJ-309. When used on a 6" jointer, the same item is Delta part number NJ-246. This listing is for the "SLEEVE ONLY".So there is no confusion about what part you are buying in this listing, I painted one of the sleeves red so it would be obvious in the photo. All sleeves that will be shipped are bright silver zinc plated items. The "sleeve, complete with a threaded stud, and new Saturn ball knob" is also available.
