The company was founded by Eliot Feld in 1967 as The American Ballet Company, later known as Feld Ballet. The Joyce Theatre was founded by Eliot Feld and Cora Cahan, underwritten by philanthropist, LuEsther Mertz and named for Mertz's daughter. This is NOT a reproduction!! Note: Window cards are 14 x 22 theatre posters. Condition is near excellent with minor wear. CONDITION: I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality: Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor. Good means just that: desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade. Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders. Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear. All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition. IMAGES: I use a digital camera so the entire piece is visible.
