Description: Offered is the February 6, 1937 issue of the vintage publication "The Illustrated London News", Vol. 190 No. 5103. The magazine contains articles on current news events, as well as a page on movies, books, collectables and more. Of particular interest in this issue are articles on the fourth anniversary of Nazi rule, the British Fleet, the second inauguration of Franklin D. Roosevelt and the first British tourists at Soviet Black Sea resorts. There are dozens of black and white and sepia-tone photos. There are also numerous ads, including one for Shell featuring Laurel and Hardy (see next-to-last photo). There is a full-page two-color Bovril ad on the back cover and many smaller ones on the front, as shown. The magazine is approx. 14 1/2" x 10 1/4" and contains 36 pages, numbered from 205-240. It is in very good condition. The cover has no tears, with only light edge wear and soiling. There is a faint stamp on the front. I see no missing or torn pages and all are well-attached to the cover. They have yellowed but are otherwise generally clean and clear. Please take a moment to look at some of the other items in my eBay store!
