Faux Fake Decoy handmade wasp / hornets nest 100% acrylic yarn Eco-Friendly

Description: Hanging a faux or fake wasp/hornet nest decoy is a great way to keep those pests away this summer and all year around... Fake nests work off the premise that wasps and hornets are extremely territorial and will stay away from an area that already has a nest in order to avoid confrontations. Having this decoy can deter them from building their own, so there is no need to spray any chemicals. The nest is roughly 8” ‘long‘ and 6” ‘wide’ not including the loop that easily attaches to any nail or hook. Please keep in mind that the dimensions can differ as each is handmade due to the final resting spots of the plastic bags and rocks, the tension I use in the creation process, etc. The nest is crocheted from quality worsted weight yarn and the inside is filled upcycled plastic bags for water resistancy. Although I wouldn't feel comfortable calling it ''waterproof" I personally call it "water resistant" and it can be dried with a hairdryer set on low to prevent any plastic from the bags from melting. This is a homemade item crafted by me in my home when I get a bit of ‘mommy time’. :-) Please refer to all photos, and ask any questions that you might have.
