Description: Presented is a fabulous large French porcelain tray from 1870s. The piece displays a gorgeous orange pattern with classic French scroll and leafy details around border with a gold edge. The design seemed to have an applied darker orange border with the light orange being hand painted. There is a stylized monogram at the center at each bowl, a W and T, interwoven, made up of the orange style decorations and pink roses to make up the letters. The underside is marked “Ernie Du Bac Paris”, and “71” probably for 1871. We have other pieces in this pattern. We encourage you to view our page or reach out if you are interested in more of this collection. The tray is in good overall condition. As seen in the photos, there is a small repairs/ fill-in on the left edge of the tray. The gilded border is in good shape, with only some wear. The orange border decorations are in great shape and well-defined. There are no breaks or chips in the porcelain, and no other repairs.
