Description: A gorgeous original Art Deco orange 1920's Flapper Silk Chiffon dress that is not only elaborately beaded that is tiny floral leaves but also adorned with the most interesting and unique small 1" velvet teardrops. The Orange tiny glass beadwork is exquisite and is designed to be coordinating w the teardrops. The velvet teardrops are on the bottom of the drop waist skirt and the 2 sashes that are attached at the right shoulder and waist. Overall a classic 1920's silhouette with drop waist and asymmetrical hem. The overall beading is in excellent condition, the front waist design is very interesting in the sense of are there beads missing or is the design to appear this way. There is no signs of tiny stitching where the beads would have been attached. There is No signs of wear no fading, the fabric overall is in very good condition. There are two very small holes at the right back arm and a short seam opening at the drop waist,a very small hole on the left bottom waistband seam and a small hole on the shoulder sash. These are insignificant considering the age and the overall wonderful condition. Measures 32"/34" bust, 34" top of waistband, 44" hips and 42" mid shoulder to hem. The shoulder sash is 29" and the waist is 24" long. Truly an opulent and unique flapper dress, usually you find beautiful beading, this one is beading and unique velvet teardrop that must have been attached to the beading, all created by hand.
