There is no manual, case or other accessories that may have been included when it was new. The anemometer does have some cosmetic flaws but powers on when four AAA batteries (not included) are installed. When the cup is installed and spun, it does register movement, but it is otherwise untested. The anemometer will ship in the foam tray as pictured with an additional piece of foam on top.
