Description: EXC ORIG THE PAINTED DESERT 1931 PATHE COLOR 11x14 LOBBY CARD BILL BOYD CLARK GABLE WILLIAM FARNUM Best known as Clark Gable's first notable on screen appearance (he plays the bad guy) Pathe Pictures western also starred a pre Hopalong Cassidy Bill Boyd and western veteransl William Farnum and J. Farrell McDonald. The latter two are see in this great original color lobby card from 1931. Picture features the two grizzled vets arguing over the custody of a orphaned baby while Boyd (the baby now grown up) and stranger in town Gable confront each other over Helen Twelvetrees. Card is in fine conditoin. Piece has minor border/edge wear. Colors are vibrant and card has no notable creases, tears or chips out. Overall a rare, top lobby card from this classic early talkie western.
