Description: Exakta 500 Dresden 35mm SLR camera made in East Germany Only limited functionality tests done, so purchase at your own risk! Shutter fires, winder seems to work, mirror moves, viewfinder works. I've never used an Exacta before so I'm unfamiliar with the operation compared to most Japanese models. It's a very cool camera! Even if it isn't used at all it would look nice as home decor. It definitely has some dirt on the view screen and mirror and I'm sure could use a cleaning. The lens is a well-known Meyer Optic Gorlitz Domiplan 50mm f2.8. It is pretty famous for producing soap-bubble like bokeh in the out of focus areas. It could use a cleaning too and has some visible dust and small scratches. Seems to work perfectly. Focus and aperture rings move as they should. Can be adapted to any modern mirrorless camera with the right adapter. Camera and lens will be packaged securely. Not accepting any returns. Again, purchase at your own risk. I bought this as part of a collection, and was more interested in a couple of the other lenses, so I'm sharing! Plus, really the last thing I need is more camera gear! LOL!
