This special keepsake was created by the Knievel family and distributed for all attendees of Evel's funeral on that day, December 10, 2007 in Butte, MT. It was anticipated that the funeral would be attended by almost 10,000 people. The actual attendance ended up being just over 8,000. We sent many of these keepsake tribute brochures out to Evel's personal friends that were not able to attend his funeral for one reason or another. A limited number remain. Putting together this tribute piece was a labor of love to pay our deepest respects to a great man and an incredible daredevil…the Godfather of Extreme Sports. We would like to give his fans a chance to also own a keepsake of that very special day when we honored his legacy to our world. All Daredevil_Entertainment auctions include a one-of-a-kind jelly bracelet made for Evel Knievel Days event in Butte, MT. As most people know Evel died from a condition known as Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, or the hardening of the lungs. They never discovered what cause him to develop this disease (hence the Idiopathic term). Once he was diagnosed with this incurable disease he spent much time raising awareness about IPF. We partnered with the IPF Foundation to raise money at our event by producing and selling these bracelets with all proceeds being donated to IPF. Unfortunately, we produced WAY more bracelets than could ever be sold at the three day event and they were date stamped. Instead of throwing them away we have opted to include them in our orders to continue to promote awareness of IPF in EK's honor! In addition, we use our famous longtime mascot “Rocket” in all auctions so buyers recognize us as authentic. The total shipping, handling, and insurance for this item is $5.00 within the USA. Daredevil_Entertainment uses only quality packing materials& takes great care in the packaging of all our products.
