Ferns in this genus are widely known as staghorn or elk horn ferns due to their uniquely shaped fronds. Name: Platycerium stemaria.Size: SmallContainer size: 11.5 inch x 5.5 inch plaque. Care: Prefer Shade (medium light to bright light). Avoid direct sun. Water when dry. Feed with standard 20-20-20 every few weeks. They are tropical plant. Best kept between 55F to 90F. Plants are locally grown in Miami, Florida. Note: Nature of P. stemaria tends to have brown (dry) shield fronds from time to time. Plant will put out new shield fronds to cover brown shield fronds.
