OUTLET special price! Epiphone is collaborating with Gibson Custom Shop to release the 1959 Les Paul Standard, a beautiful reproduction of a rare vintage classic. The 1959 Les Paul Standard features a mahogany body with a maple top made of AAA flame maple veneer, a one-piece mahogany neck with a rounded medium C profile following the 1959 style, and a long neck tenon (deep joint). The headstock features Gibson's original "openbook" headstock shape, and the aged MOP logo, tuners, pickguard, and binding are also vintage style reproductions. The pickup is mounted with a Gibson Custombucker, which is also used in Custom Shop products. In addition, 50s wiring, CTS potentiometers, Mallory capacitors, Switchcraft selector switch and output jack are also used, and it boasts a full range of specifications in terms of sound.
